Oppenheim Building

Scranton, PA

The Historic Oppenheim, is downtown Scranton's premier office building most importantly due to the it’s downtown location which means access to the three most important advantages sought by office operations:  Infrastructure for specialized labor training; telecommunications superiority; and availability and quality of the labor force.

The Oppenheim has total square footage of 193,084 square feet and is occupied by IRS, Social Security Administration, Pennstar Bank (both corporate headquarters and a branch), Dial America, WSWB Paxson Communications, The Department of Agriculture, The Office of Community and Economic Development, The Criminal Investigation Division, Cipriani & Werner, and Margolis & Edelstien, providing a strong daily workforce of consumers that exceeds 1,000 jobs.

Samter Building

Scranton, PA

Built in 1897 and renovated in 1991 the Samter Building is occupied by state administrative offices.  The Samter Building has total square footage of 40,312 square feet with tenants including the Bureau of Consumer Protection, Tort Litigation,  Conservation and Natural Resources, Department of Environmental Protection, Department of Revenue Tax Auditors, Department of Revenue Taxpayer Assistance, Probation and Parole and the Auditor General.

The Samter building is listed on the National Historic Register.

 

Scranton Enterprise Center

Scranton, PA

The Scranton Enterprise Center is a $6 million 41,475 square foot facility designed to boost entrepreneurial spirit in the downtown Scranton area.  The new technology/ incubator building is capable of accommodating several anchor tenants and up to 17 new businesses.  The center provides office space starting at 300 square feet, as well as a number of services and resources to its tenants.

The Scranton Enterprise Center is currently occupied by Michael J Kenny, Esq., Peak Works Inc., Gallagher & Gallagher, Archiventure, Recycling Environmental Group, Iron Tree Network Solutions and Great Valley Technology Institute and is anchored by the McCann Business School.
